Currently in the testing phase, I may be insane but it might just work. Having the concept for metal plates to be inserted into the frame for the recoil lugs, just finished up the geometry from where Atomic Arms left off.
YES! I’ve been wondering why nobodies tried that given how cheap the kits are. I’ll be happy to be a beta tester when you get that far. Either way please please get ahold of me when you to the point you know it’s gonna be a thing because I don’t wanna miss out on the current prices and availability of the parts kit. I can’t tell you how many times I saw parts kit jump in price or stocks dry up because of increased interest from our crowd. A recent example is the Malaysian steyr Aug surplus kits practically disappearing Internet wide shortly after psr made a video about the nylaug. I admit this could be the result of other factors but I can’t help but feeling like that video was responsible for three fourths of all nylaug parts kits sold since the videos release.
Honestly I’d just buy one now, cuts on my kit from bowman were really good so it would be an easy re weld either way better to have the kit now.
You mind showing me how they look in a dm? I’ve never rebuilt a partskit by traditional methods because the ppsh and cetme kits I’ve personally held had that bubbly jagged look of an ugly plasma torch cut
I can get those later but the cuts weren’t bad at all just require some dremel work.
