Been working on a “clone” of the HBPDW that can mount to a milspec carbine buffer tube. Not 300$ and fully diy. Uses either 8mm solid CF rod or 8mm ss linear rods. Has both a brace option like the original and a stock option. Sailing soon on a ship near you, just wanted to get some feedback before release.

Looks great, but I question how the brace designation would play out with what looks to be a fair amount of surface area.
No printed brace is gonna classify legally as a brace
