Sooo I found this strange muzzle device in the projects of Chicago and was like hey this is cool! So anyway- for those that did NOT slide a metal tube over their muzzle devices but opted for the casting method what has been your go to choice for mounting a serial? Metal Dog tag from PetSmart with all the info hand molded and jb welded? Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated so when January comes around I have a process that’s easily repeatable!
This is the first I’ve heard of the dog tag method but that’s a great idea! Could you elaborate on this casting method?
3M casting tape is an alternative to the metal tube and jb weld. Basically you are just wrapping the core and adding epoxy on each full wrap. Then once complete take your metal plate and epoxy it on so that it cures with the casting tape.
Oh right, I read that in the files. Don’t know why but I thought of metal casting and was intrigued
