I was planning on designing a double action revolver. Can pa cf polymaker nylon filament be sufficient to sustain the pressure? Thanks

Without chamber liners - no. There was my video on (nuked) Reddit with the SnubbyBuddy blowing the PA-GF cylinder. With just 1.5grains of powder charge (as far I can recall).
The Ryno over in gatalog beta disagrees.
In fairness it has a trick up its sleeve with oversized rifling designed to vent excess gas rather than build too much pressure
I did blow up one cylinder with standard velocity ammo, but when I reprinted it hot and slower, I’ve put over 50rds of standard velocity 22 through it without failure, without liners.
Well. My bad. I didn’t think about .22 when answered. The chamber surface of .22 is 3 times smaller than 9mm, so, could work.
Anyways. This just reminds me, were is a “3d printed pipe calculator” https://guncadindex.com/detail/Supressor-Wall-Thickness-Calculator:9. Cans oriented, but could give a rough approximated info for a chambers and barrels.
