I don’t use anything other than a dehydrator with a PID. So long as you don’t fluctuate a lot in temp and you allow it to heat slowly to begin with and cool slowly you’ll be fine without salt or sand or anything

I use the small septree dehydrator and you can find it often for 70 bucks on Amazon. It doesn’t have Celsius so I just set it to 190F and it works perfectly. I run everything from pa6 to pps through it. I run pa6 for 48 hours so that I know for a fact it’s dry and I run pps for 72 to 96 hours. You won’t regret it. I also use it paired with a PID when ever I anneal.

Ok so I have done a lot more investigating into the problem that I’m having with my deAR22 SS and it’s not when the lever comes back forward, it’s not pushing the lever back enough to release the trigger. It likes about 2mm letting it release before it goes back forward.

Yeah, I got about 15 lmao. It seems like the slack that’s between the lever and the cam doesn’t allow the cam to be moved far enough. But let me throw you for a huge loop lol. Sometimes depending on how Cam and lever are positioned when I shut the upper it will work, but if I open the upper again and it’s not in that exact same spot it stops working.

I have a Septree dehydrator that I got off Amazon. It’s the smaller white one that’s like 70 bucks and then I dry at 190F for 48hrs. Once it’s dry I take it out of the dehydrator and put it in my Sunlu S4 and print from it at 70c. Or you can get a Lazy Susan for the dehydrator and drill a hole through the side and tap a Ptfe fitting in it so that you can run a Ptfe tube straight from the dehydrator. Cerakote works perfect for keeping moisture out of the print and also keeps the tiny CF/GF pieces from getting embedded into your hands.

That’s because Im very active and try to help people. Im online basically all day every day. Even when Im at work I work at the Hospital and in between seeing patients I am replying to people about 3d2a lmao. I like to help people achieve good prints so that they fall in love with the hobby. It’s also good for my mental health because when I see all the good comments about how I have helped someone it makes me feel good about myself.
