Content discussed within must be legal to discuss within the United States of America.
Do not manufacture regulated items illegally.
Do not spam.
Respect the rules of other instances. Other 3D-printing communities from other instances probably won’t take kindly to what we do.
Do not disseminate direct download links to printable gun content unless it is a link to Odysee/LBRY or GunCAD Index. Accessories hosted on other sites (Thingiverse, Printables, etc.) are fine.
Before making a community for user-to-user sales or trades, reach out to @TheShittinator@forum.guncadindex.com – we need to make sure those communities stay well-moderated.

Additionally, some pointers that aren’t really site rules but you should probably still respect:

Being kind to your fellow man will typically yield better results than being a dickhead.
Talking in cryptic riddles may attract ridicule. Just say Odysee ffs.

FAQ

Q: I didn’t get a verification email, what the fuck?

A: Use the “forgot password” form and it’ll send you a new one. Also make sure you didn’t typo your email when signing up – if that happens, reach out to me and I can help.

Q: I subscribed to somewhere, but it says it’s pending?

A: We’re waiting for the server that community’s on to give us the thumbs-up on your sub. Give it a minute or two, then if it’s still like that, unsub and resub.

Q: Is there a good mobile app?

A: Yes, you want any app that supports Lemmy – there are a lot of them out there. I’m personally trying out Eternity on Android. For iOS, people are liking mlem.

Q: I still need help, how can I contact you?

A: Join our Matrix Space and ask for help in General.

Q: Where should I go if this goes down? Do you have a reddit presence?

A: Official Reddit-side bunker: /r/3D2A. Who knows how long it’ll last.
