What parts are needed for this build? I’m looking at a rock Island Armory kit right now but I’m not sure what’s different between the 1911 and 2011.
2011 is double stack so it is wider than 1911

end of day the only changes youve made to the OG frame seem to be ergonomics. any other functional/structural changes youve made ?
Literally the entire inside. A lot of stuff has been redone and adjusted for printing since the original was just a metal frame CAD and the ok boomer combined. This whole project is gonna have basic and block CAD for others to mess with.
That being said, I am not gonna give people files if I don’t test it myself and deem it good enough to start a beta. Even if the original worked for others, I wasn’t part of that.
Am in for Beta once you deem it worthy!
