Sorry guys. I’m new here and fairly new to 2A printing. Just got my centauri carbon set up. .6 hotend, running fiber on pa6-cf. I have it running directly from my dryer into the machine via ptfe tube. I know I want to use 100% infill, but I’m not sure about the rest of my settings. Can someone direct me to a rundown of the settings I want to use?

Going to start with a couple fmda Glock frames and some Hoffman lowers.

Are you new to 3d printing or just 3d2a? You want to make sure you understand your printer really well with cheaper filaments like PLA+ before going to the expensive stuff like pa6cf.

I’ve been printing for several years now. Started with an ender 3 v1 and have upgraded as money allowed. I’ve even done a couple 2A prints (fgc that didn’t turn out and a harlot). Printer is as dialed in as I can make it. I was mostly looking for recommended speeds, wall settings, etc.

Lookup 300blkfde settings on guncadindex use those and as long as the filament is legitimately dry you should be good enough to print from a .4 nozzle!

    1. Learn your printer, printer settings, slicer settings

    2. Print and test non 2a

    3. Dial in settings

    4. Read docs, instructions, readme (if doesn’t have one, your not ready to print or maybe don’t print it)

    5. Think long and hard about it

    6. Still don’t know something use forum search to figure out problem

    7. After 1-5, ask question
